Custom Design with edge-to-edge photography

Essential for Hoodlum Entertainment was to showcase their impressive film portfolio with edge-to-edge photography and bite sized production excerpts. The main goal of our design was to get users to click 'View Project' to find and more and watch the trailer.

Parallax Scrolling Effect

We used a parallax scrolling effect so users could browse through and view Hoodlum's production portfolio in a 'Netflix' style gallery.

When we first approached web designers for a quote, these were the guys who called the same day and started asking us what we wanted. Not that we really knew what we wanted beyond ‘new’ and ‘not something we had to create ourselves’.These were the guys who engaged with us, were genuinely interested in us and our product and worked with us to make sure that whatever our website looked like, it would represent us in the best way possible.I don’t think we were all that easy to work with – the concepts they created were awesome, and we settled on a direction reasonably quickly, but we kept changing our minds on content and taking forever to send back decisions, images and text. On top of that, there were little details we kept changing right up to the moments before launch.These were the guys who dealt with every quirk and irritant we sent their way with a smile, a ‘no worries, can do’ attitude and at the end of the day we are super pleased with what they produced for us.I highly recommend the Bold team (with special mention to Alecia who is a rock star for her patience and perseverance).From the Oystek team
